Along with eating healthy, including a little bit of exercise into your life could make all the difference to your health and well-being. Below are a few tips for healthy exercise.
Healthy Exercise Tips
Take the stairs. Instead of using the elevator or escalator, walking the stairs is an easy way to get some daily exercise.
Take small breaks throughout the day and go for a brief walk. Even just a few minutes of exercise throughout the day can add up.
Walk or ride your bicycle, instead of taking your car. If you drive to work, park a few blocks away and walk the rest of the way. If you take a train or bus to work, get off one or two stops early and walk the rest of the way.
Do seasonal activities, such as ice skating or skiing in the winter, or swimming and running or walking in the summer.
Do something you enjoy. Enjoyable exercise is much more likely to become a regular part of your routine. If you don’t like running or going to the gym, go for a bike ride instead. Or, try something new like dancing or rock climbing. Be creative!
