Great coffee is as easy to make as it is delicious to drink.
- Water –Good coffee starts with clean, cold, fresh water. Use bottled or filtered water if necessary.
- Beans – Whole coffee beans ground just before brewing taste best.
- Brewing – One tablespoon (15mL) of coffee per cup is a good rule of thumb.
- Extras – Sweeten it with Equal®. Lighten it with milk, cream or soymilk. Spice it up with a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg or vanilla. The possibilities are endless!
Ingredients:
- Water
- 6 teabags (flavour of your choice)
- Equal® sweetener
- Ice
- Lemon
Makes 4 servings
Preparations:
- Pour 1 cup (250ml) of boiling water over teabags and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Pour tea into a 1 litre pitcher filled with ice.
- Stir and add cold water to adjust strength to taste.
- Garnish with lemon and sweeten with Equal® Sweetener to taste.
Helpful Hints:
- Serve immediately - Fresh iced tea spoils after a few hours.

Ingredients:
- 7 cups (1 ¾ litres) water
- 1 cup (250ml) lemon juice from concentrate
- 1 cup (250ml) Equal® Granular or 24 packets Equal® sweetener
Makes 8 servings
Preparations:
- Combine ingredients and stir until Equal® dissolves.
- Serve over ice.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250ml) brewed dark roast coffee
- 1 tbsp Equal® Granular or 1 ½ packets of Equal® sweetener
- 2 tsp unsweetened coca powder
- ½ cup (125ml) hot milk
- 2 tbsp almond flavoured syrup
- Crushed whole roasted almonds
Makes 1 servings
Preparations:
- Mix coffee with Equal® and cocoa powder in a large mug.
- Top with hot milk and add almond flavored syrup.
- Stir to mix and garnish with crushed almonds.
Helpful Hints:
- For a variation in flavour, replace almond syrup with hazelnut and top with crushed hazelnuts.
- Heat milk in microwave for 1 minute on high.

Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cups (300ml) regular grind espresso or other dark roast coffee
- 1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
- 6 cups (1 ½ litres) water
- 2 ½ (625ml) cups milk
- 1/3 cup (75ml) Equal® Granular or 8 packets Equal® sweetener
- Ground cinnamon or nutmeg
Makes 8 servings
Preparations:
- Place coffee and cinnamon stick in filter basket of drip coffee pot and brew with water.
- While coffee is brewing, heat milk in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes on high.
- Process half of milk in blender at high speed until foamy.
- Stir Equal® into brewed coffee and pour into 8 mugs.
- Add hot milk and top with milk foam.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg before serving.
Helpful Hints:
- For a variation in flavour, replace almond syrup with hazelnut and top with crushed hazelnuts.

- ½ cup (125ml) very warm milk
- ½ cup (125ml) strongly brewed Chai tea
- 1 tbsp Equal® Granular or 1 ½ packets Equal® sweetener
- ¼ tsp vanilla

- 1 cup (250ml) orange juice
- 1 cup (250ml) nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 peeled banana, cut into pieces
- 1 cup (250ml) whole strawberries or raspberries
- ¼ cup (50ml) of Equal® Granular or 6 packets of Equal® sweetener
Makes 2 servings
Preparations:
- Place all ingredients in blender or food processor, cover and process until smooth.
- Garnish with fresh fruit and serve immediately in tall glasses.
Helpful Hints:
- For extra refreshing coolness, use frozen fruits.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250ml) nonfat vanilla yogurt
- 4 medium size kiwi, peeled and coarsely chopped
- ½ cup (125ml) orange juice
- ½ cup (125ml) Equal® Granular or 12 packets of Equal® sweetener
- 2 cups (500ml) frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
Makes 4 servings
Preparations:
- Place all ingredients except strawberries in blender or food processor, cover and blend until smooth.
- Add strawberries and process until smooth.
- Serve immediately in tall glasses.
Helpful Hints:
- For a delicious Berry Apricot Smoothie, replace kiwi with 1 8oz. (225ml) can of apricot halves (drained).

Ingredients:
- 35-40 fresh mint leaves
- 12-16 fresh blackberries
- 12-16 fresh blueberries
- 12-16 fresh red raspberries
- (1/2 cup 125ml) lime juice
- 8-12 teaspoons Equal® Granular or 4-8 packets of Equal® sweetener
- Crushed ice
- 1 cup (250ml) soda water
- 1 mint sprig
Makes 4 servings
Preparations:
- Press mint leaves into bottom of a 1 litre pitcher with back of wooden spoon.
- Add crushed wild berries, lime juice and Equal® and mix with mint.
- Fill pitcher with crushed ice.
- Stir well until ice is reduced by 1/3.
- Add soda water and stir again.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve.
Helpful Hints:
- For an alcoholic option, add 1 cup (250ml) of light rum with soda water.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups (750ml) water
- 2 cups (500ml) cranberry juice
- 1 can frozen juice concentrate, thawed
- 1 can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- ½ cup (125ml) Equal® Granular or 12 packets Equal® sweetener
- 6 cups (1 ½ litres) diet lemon-lime soda, chilled
Makes 12 servings
Preparations:
- Combine water, cranberry juice, orange juice and lemonade concentrates.
- Stir in Equal® until dissolved.
- Chill 1 to 2 hours.
- Stir in lemon-lime soda just before serving.
Helpful Hints:
- Garnish each glass with lemon or orange slices.
