Sweet Sips for Your Valentine
Sugar, sweetie, honey bun--the world is full of sweet endearments for the ones we love. And with Valentine's Day this month, boxes of chocolates and sugary confections beckon from every shop window. But there's no better way to say "Be my sweetheart" than with a hot cup of my indulgent but low-calorie Almond Mocha Coffee.

  Almond Mocha Coffee

Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 1 12-ounce cup

Ingredients

1 cup brewed dark roast coffee
1 Tbsp. Equal® Spoonful or 1 1/2 packets of Equal sweetener
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup steamed whole milk
2 Tbsp. almond flavored syrup
Crushed whole roasted almonds (optional)
 

Preparation

1. Mix coffee with Equal and cocoa powder in a large heated cup.
2. Top with steamed milk and add almond-flavored syrup. (To steam milk, simply place cold milk in a microwave-safe cup and heat in the microwave for 1 minute on high.)
3. Stir to mix and garnish with a sprinkle of crushed almonds.
